New Opportunities in the United States
The Biden Administration has set an aggressive goal to produce three billion gallons of sustainable aviation fuel by 2030 and 35 billion gallons by 2050. To reach this goal, the U.S. needs to dramatically accelerate its SAF production capacity. This is why SkyNRG is developing a first SAF production facility in U.S. Our goal is to produce 30 million gallons (90,000 tonnes) per year.
Locating this new facility in the Pacific Northwest region of the U.S. enables us to produce SAF on a large scale and deliver it directly into key West Coast markets that have Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) policies.
The PNW project is supported by The Boeing Company and other partners with off take agreements to purchase SAF produced in the U.S. by SkyNRG.
