Dr. Kevin Fingerman is an Associate Professor of Environmental Science & Management at Humboldt State University. He is an expert in life cycle analysis and sustainability governance for bioenergy and transportation fuel systems.
Dr. Fingerman has served in a consulting capacity on bioenergy sustainability issues for several California regulatory agencies, the European Commission, the Sierra Club, the Union of Concerned Scientists, and several biomaterials producers. He has also served on the board of directors of the Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials. Prior to his current position, Kevin worked in Rome for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization. He holds MS and PhD degrees from UC Berkeley’s Energy & Resources Group.
